The Colorado School of Mines Geology Museum is holding a Book Sale and Garage Sale this weekend, November 22nd & 23rd, 9-4. Hundreds of books, maps, journals, USGS folios, minerals, fossils, etc. will be on sale. Prices vary by item or box, but most prices will drop throughout the event! This is the last day for the High School’s play, Totally Twelfth Night. There are performances at 2 and 7, at 701 24th St. Tickets are $8 at the door.
Golden Gate Grange (25201 Golden Gate Canyon Rd) is holding a Holiday Craft Fair today from 9-4. They’re offering a dazzling array of jewelry, photography, cards, books by local author, pottery, leather fashion accessories, quilts, embroidering, pottery, Christmas ornaments, food and baked items and much more. Admission is free, and lunch will be available.
Barrels & Bottles Brewery is holding a coat drive. They especially need men’s children’s, and extra-large coats (gently-used, please). They are also hosting a trivia contest today from 4-8PM. The fee to enter the contest is $5. There will be prizes awarded for the winning teams, and giveaways throughout the evening. Bring a coat to get a giveaway ticket! This is a fund-raiser for Colorado Uplift.
