The Mountaineering Center is the place to be tonight. Not only is the Colorado Environmental Film Festival kicking off, they’re having Thirsty Thursday at the Mountaineering Museum! As always, they’re offing free admission, live music, craft beer, and gear giveaways. This month’s beer comes from Renegade Brewing Company, the music is provided by Scott Brooks Band, and the gear giveaway is sponsored by Zeal.
Meanwhile, down the street at the Golden History Center, Ed Weising will be telling stories about Golden’s Cast of Characters, including railroad founder William Loveland and Transcript founder George West. Admission is $10 for members and $15 for non-members.
