The Golden Community Cinema group is going to show City Slickers tonight at 7, at the American Mountaineering Center. It’s a funny movie, and just the thing to get you in the proper state of mind for Buffalo Bill Days.
Then, in case you’ve had enough cowboy stuff by Saturday night, you can watch a couple of adventure documentary films at the Mountaineering Center: The Mountain Between Us, and Mountains Will Move. The program begins at 7 and is free to the public. Learn more….
Finally–sorry for the late notice on this one, but we just found out. The Westernaires will celebrate National Day of the Cowboy today by giving two free shows–one at 10 this morning, and one at noon–at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds. “Come see an action packed Wild West Show that will include trick riding, clowns, horse roman riding, steppes, trick roping, whips, liberty riding, dressage, our famous precision drill teams and more!” Again, it’s free, so round up the kids and take them to the Fairgrounds this morning!
