The new Tributary Food Hall opens to the public today. Maybe you should try them for dinner– curry, fresh seafood, healthy smoothies, pizza, sandwiches, and many other options. They’re at 701 12th St. (map).

Earth Sweet Botanicals is hosting their Healthy Skin Club tonight from 5-7PM, with a focus on Hands, Shoulders, Feet & Toes. Enjoy some healthy snacks and drinks while you learn about exfoliation, moisturizing, how to stop the aging process, eczema treatments, and more. Ask an esthetician about your skin issues. Leave with product samples. Please call the store to reserve your spot and samples: 303-278-1260.

Golden Quilt Company has had a long-running event on first Fridays called “Quilt Till You Wilt.” They’re moving on to other programs now, so tonight will be the VERY LAST Quilt Till You Wilt. Join them at 5PM. Bring a project and snack to share. They’ll provide the pizza and drinks. Please call 720-524-4825 to reserve your place or register here.

Tonight’s street music is provided by Derek Hall and Austen Williamson. They’ll be playing downtown from 5-8PM. The carriage rides will be available from 6-8PM. Both music and carriages are being sponsored tonight by the Downtown Development Authority (DDA).

ALSO Downtown tonight: this is the first of four evenings of Movies and Music in the Park. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs to Parfet Park (10th and Washington). Tonight’s music comes from Half Pint and the Growlers, beginning at 7PM. The movie will start at dusk. They’ll be showing How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World.

There’s a 7:30 performance of the wickedly funny play, Fairfield at Miners Alley Playhouse.

Alternatively, you can head to the Railroad Museum for Colorado Rails and Cocktails. Kris Autobee will tell us about The Railroad that Never Was. Jefferson County dairy farmers were struggling to get their product to market. Farmers living near the tracks were doing better than those who trucked their product into Denver by wagon. The answer – a new railroad of course! Join Kris Autobee as she explores the ins and outs of attracting a railroad of your own in the late 19th century. Relax, have a beverage, and travel back to a time when railroads shaped the American West. Since alcohol is served, the minimum age for this event is 21. Learn more….
