We’ll have another exciting day downtown! The parade starts at 11 and will run for about 30 minutes, along Washington Avenue, between 10th and 13th Streets. Remember — each parade has a different line-up of entrants, so each one is different. Rumor has it that we’ll see a lot of horses today.
We have free horse-drawn carriage rides from 12-4PM. Board the carriages just west of 12th and Washington. Free Newfoundland dogcart rides are available for young children at 12th and Jackson Streets. The What the Dickens Singers will be caroling along the Avenue from 11 to 1.
Foothills Art Center is hosting a Holiday Sweater Party from 11-2. You bring the sweatshirt or hoodie and they supply the materials and guidance to help create festive, awesomely fun holiday gear. The cost is $5.
The other option at Foothills is their Ornament Creation workshop. Foothills’ jewelry workshop instructor Stephanie will help you create some beautiful wire ornaments for your home or as a gift! Please arrive before noon. This activity also runs from 11-2, and the cost is $5.
