Evidently, a lot of people enjoyed yesterday’s post about Golden in the mid-20th century. One of the things I enjoy about the old Transcripts is seeing the ads for Golden businesses–Foss Drug, Meyer Hardware, Safeway, and–oddly–Woods Mortuary.
The Quilt Museum is hosting Sunday at the Museum today from 2-4PM. Join presenter Mike Klicek for the second part of his Magical Miniatures presentation. Part 1 dealt with his “Flying Geese Phase”. Part 2 deals with his attempt to break away from his favorite quilt pattern.
