The GURA board meets tonight at 6:30 in City Council Chambers. GURA’s Executive Director of ten years, Mark Heller, has accepted a position with the City of Thornton, so this will be Mark’s last meeting.
Tomorrow night is the third Golden Beer Talk. The topic is Space, the entree is Hungarian beef and potato stew, and the brewery is Cannonball Creek. Join us at Windy Saddle!
Tomorrow is Colorado Gives day. For 24 hours (starting at midnight tonight), donations you make to non-profit organizations will be matched from a special fund provided by the Community First foundation. The amount of the match depends on the amount donated during the 24 hour period. The matching fund contains $250,000, which will be split proportionally amongst the non-profits, according to the amount that donors gave them on that day. The donations must be made through www.coloradogives.org.
