By now, you’ve probably read Golden’s “One Book” for 2012–Growing Up True: Lessons from a Western Boyhood. The Golden History Center has designed their fall lecture series to complement that theme. They’ll have speakers on memory, memoirs, Golden through the Decades, and growing up in Golden.
The first lecture is tonight from 5-6 at the museum (923 10th Street). Psychotherapist Nancy Bell will discuss the science behind memory and why we remember certain events more than others. The event is free for museum members and $3 for non-members.
