The freshmen at the School of Mines will leave the campus at 8 this morning for the annual M Climb.  They should reach the M at about 10AM.  The road up the mountain (Lariat Loop Trail) is closed this morning, but look up at the M, mid-morning, and you might see tiny figures scurrying around applying a new coat of whitewash.

There’s a lot going on this weekend, but here’s one thing you can take off your to-do list:  Little Shop of Horrors at Miners Alley is SOLD OUT through the end of the run.

The Railroad Museum is running a Whistle Stop Tour from 9 – 5 tomorrow.  They’ll have politicians, past and present, making speeches from the back end of one of their antique railcars.
