The freshmen at the School of Mines will leave the campus at 8 this morning for the annual M Climb. They should reach the M at about 10AM. The road up the mountain (Lariat Loop Trail) is closed this morning, but look up at the M, mid-morning, and you might see tiny figures scurrying around applying a new coat of whitewash.

The Railroad Museum is running a Whistle Stop Tour from 9 – 5 tomorrow. They’ll have politicians, past and present, making speeches from the back end of one of their antique railcars.
