Women’s HERstory Month 6PM

Ladies, gather with your fellow outdoor enthusiasts for an evening of community and inspiration. We’re celebrating Women’s History Month with local organizations and businesses like: Deuter, Beti Bike Series, and The Tea Spot. Peruse special exhibits highlighting the women who paved the path for all of us. Network with women’s meet up groups and organizations that empower and support. We’ll finish the evening with some all-female adventure films to feed the stoke! All are welcome! Tickets.

The Highest Hundred – By the Long Ranger 6:15PM
Bent Gate Mountaineering – 1313 Washington Ave. (map)

A non-stop self-powered disaster-style tour of the hundred highest peaks of Colorado. Join Justin Simoni as he shares stories from his epic, sixty-day bike packing and trail running pilgrimage through the Colorado high country in his attempt to summit every one of the Colorado Centennials in record time.

Sustainability Board – 6PM

Green Building Goals 6:15 – 7:30 pm
The Board will discuss potential revisions to the Sustainability Goals pertaining to Green
Buildings, look at past achievements, and begin a recommendation to City Council for new
targets. Goal revisions will be discussed at CSAB meetings through May and the Board is
seeking public input on the recommendations.

Green Menu Standards 7:30 – 8:00 pm
Annually, CSAB and Planning Commission meet to discuss best practices in the green
building industry and to make potential updates to the Residential and Commercial Green
Menus, part of the zoning process. CSAB will discuss preliminary ideas and research in
advance of an upcoming joint meeting with Planning Commission on April 18.

, you are invited to the Golden Elks Lodge (16795 W. 50th Ave. – map) for a Potluck Speak-a-thon.Join the Golden Orators demonstrating speaking skills learned through the pathways of Toastmasters.
