The Jeffco Open Space Nature Journal Club meets from 10AM-2PM at the Lookout Mountain Nature Center. A nature journal is a wonderful tool for developing curiosity and making discoveries. Explore ways to investigate the natural world through drawings and notes and then practice in your journal. Enjoy a potluck lunch midway through program.
This program will involve a ½ mile loop hike with some uphill walking. We will be out on the trail for 90 minutes in potentially cold temperatures. Please dress warmly and bring a headlamp or flashlight. Hiking poles and footwear traction devices will be beneficial if the trails are icy. Program details….
