Have you visited the Clear Creek History Park this summer? You should! They have costumed interpreters working there Tuesday through Sunday every week. They’ll be glad to teach you some pioneer skills and show you the old cabins. In addition to the heritage breed chickens that they’ve had at the park for a number of years, they now have some heritage breed sheep. Stop by and meet them, and help feed them.
While you’re out, cross the footbridge to the Golden History Center and have lunch or a cold drink at their outdoor patio, which is now open for the summer.
