Liquor (and Marijuana) Licensing and Sustainability

The Liquor Licensing Authority will meet this afternoon at 2:30 in City Council Chambers.    Rocky Mountain Organic Medicine (medical marijuana) is applying to renew their business license.  Cafe 13 is applying for a (new) liquor license.  The Diamond Shamrock at 17691 W. Colfax and the Table Mountain Inn have both filed “Change of Registered Manager” applications.  For more information, see the Agenda, Minutes, Web Casts, Schedule page and review the meeting packet.

The Sustainability Board meets tonight at 6:30 in City Council Chambers.  They will be reviewing proposals for a new 5-year trash and recycling collection vendor.  Residents are invited and encouraged to review and comment on the proposals, but they have not yet been posted on the City website.  Attend the meeting to get a copy, or look on this board’s page tomorrow.  The board will pass their recommendation on to City Council, so you will have another chance to register your comments in June.  The board will also review proposed amendments to the zoning code designed to make our building standards more “green.”  They will also discuss ways to educate the public about water conservation.  The meeting packet is available here.
