This weekend is the Jefferson County Library’s Fall Whale of Used Book Sale! Held at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds, the sale includes over 100,000 books, audiobooks, CDs, DVDs, videos, maps, and records. Most books run from $.50 to $2.50; videos and CDs are typically $1; DVDs, $2.50; books on tape $1, and books on CD $3. The sale runs Friday and Saturday from 9 to 5. Sunday is bag day: stuff as many items as you can into a grocery-sized bag for just $5. The Sunday hours are 11 to 3.
