Colorado School of Mines starts their annual E-Days celebration today. This year’s theme is “Lost at SEa-Days.” Tonight’s events include:

Casino Night, Lockridge Arena, 8:30 PM-11:00 PM
Mr. Big Digger, Lockridge Arena, 8:45 PM-10:30 PM
At 6:30 this evening, City Council will meet in City Council Chambers. They will approve a contract for $158,207 to repair various HVAC equipment on city structures.
They will have several proclamations:
– National Crime Victims’ Rights Week 2018
– Public Safety Telecommunications Week 2018
– National Volunteer Week 2018
– Arbor Day- 2018
– Earth Day 2018
They will present Sustainability Awards to the Kong Company, Miller Coors, Wendy Hanophy, and the League of Women Voters. They will consider a request to declare opposition to Conversion Therapy.
They will consider modifying an Environmental Covenant regarding City Property along Clear Creek. The existing covenant identifies two monitoring wells that have disappeared over time (possibly overgrown). The Colorado Dept of Public Health and the Environment says we no longer need them.
