Kids
The Golden Library is having a Fuzzy Friends Sleepover tonight. At 4PM, bring your favorite fuzzy friend to spend the night at the library. Secret cameras will record the antics, and tomorrow (Sunday) at 1PM, you can pick up your friend and watch a slide show that reveals the toys’ shenanigans. This is limited to 20 fuzzy friends, and as of Friday night there are still 5 slots available. Register at the Library’s website.
Don’t forget to sign up for tomorrow’s Elf Academy at Gold Mine Cupcakes.
Grown-Ups
Casey Brown is having Cocktails with a Councilor at 3PM at the Miners Saloon (map). This is a great opportunity to talk with a representative and residents of the North Neighborhoods, as well as any issue related to the “good of Golden.”
PranaTonic Yoga Studio is celebrating the Winter Solstice with Glow Yoga tonight from 5-7. The cost is $20 at the door. If you’d like to be painted with glow body paint, come early–at 4:30. The suggested donation for body paint is $3. A portion of the sales will go to benefit Family Tree whose services end child abuse, domestic violence, and homelessness.
