This is teen movie night at the library. They’ll be showing Into the Woods from 6-8.
Tomorrow night (Wednesday 5/4), there will be a Volunteer Fair at the Golden Visitors Center. Lots of the cultural organizations will be attending, including the museums, symphony, Colorado Environmental Film Festival, and the Chamber. If you want to meet people and become more involved in the community, this is a prime opportunity! Would you like to help with the Farmers Market, Street Fairs, the Golden Music Festival, the Golden Fine Arts Festival, the Beer & Chili-Tasting Festival? Here’s where you sign up! If you prefer something quieter, such as staffing a desk at a museum, that’s also an option. How about ushering at Miners Alley Playhouse, or the Environmental Film Festival? Whether you’re looking for a one-time job or something recurring, you can be sure that your help is needed and would be appreciated.
The Volunteer Fair lasts from 4-7, Wednesday May 4th, at the Golden Visitors Center–10th and Washington in downtown Golden. There will be food and door prizes!
