Some Jefferson County Open Space property suffered damage in the recent flooding. There will be an information meeting tonight to provide a briefing on the Apex Park closure and the conditions at White Ranch Park and North Table Mountain Park. The presentation will cover planning, project strategies and involvement with FEMA. Following the presentation, staff experts will be available for one-on-one discussions regarding trails and repair work. The meeting will be held at the American Mountaineering Center, 710 10th Street. map
Miners Alley’s comedy nights are developing quite a following! Tomorrow night they’ll feature Chuck Roy (“The Bear”). Chuck hosts Film on the Rock at Red Rocks Amphitheatre, appears on Showtime, and is a host at Comedy Works in Denver. Franzen and Phillips will also appear, improvising a one act play. Should be fun! The bar opens at 7, the show starts at 8. Tickets are $12 for adults and $5 for CSM students.
