Sunday September 21, 7AM – 4th Annual Coyote Chase
Shelton Elementary.
Join us for the 4th annual Coyote 5K Classic and 1 Mile Fun Run. Challenge yourself to a 5K race like no other. You can expect challenging hills and stunning views while you enjoy this one of a kind community event. Thanks to our generous sponsors, this is one of the most affordable 5k events in the area. There will be fun activities, including food/drinks, face painter, balloon creator, obstacle course, music and a silent auction happening during and following the race. 100% of all registration fees will go directly to Shelton Elementary Science and Technology fund. Sunday September 21, 10AM – 13th Annual Second Wind 5K Run/Walk
Jeffco Fairgrounds
Since 2002, Second Wind Fund has brought you the Annual Walk/Run which began with only 66 participants. This year, we anticipate over 2,000! Whether you are a 1-mile walker, 3-mile stroller, or 5K qualifying runner, this is a wonderful event for all ages. Each year, our unique celebration includes a memorial dove release. Your registration fee includes an event t-shirt, BBQ lunch, entertainment, children’s activities, Wellness Village and our wildly popular silent auction! Learn more.
Sunday September 28, 8AM – Golden Gallop
Downtown Golden
Starting again beneath the City’s famous ‘Welcome’ arch, right in the center of historic downtown Golden, and finishing in leafy Parfet Park beside gushing Clear Creek, the Golden Gallop will lead its runners on 5k and 10k loops as well as a Kid’s Fun Run Course. Saturday October 4, 9AM – Demon Dash
Golden High SchoolWe invite our Golden community to join us for the Demon Dash 2014 5K Run/Walk and One Mile Fun Run for the benefit of academic, athletic and extracurricular concerns at Golden High School. Ours is a professionally timed 5K course that runs along Fossil Trace and up to Splash, just the right amount of vertical, and so pretty.
