It’s all relative…plus beer!

Golden Beer Talks

This Tuesday’s Golden Beer Talk will feature astrophysicist and educator Dr. Jeffrey Bennett, who will help us celebrate the 100th anniversary of Einstein’s Theory of Relativity!  Dr. Bennett promises us an “intuitive” introduction to the theory, as well as describing its critical importance to our modern understanding of the universe.

Golden Beer Talks are held on the second Tuesday of every month at Windy Saddle Cafe in downtown Golden.  Each month, we host a speaker, usually on a science-related topic, and bring in beer from one of Golden’s craft breweries.  This month the beer will come from Golden City Brewery.  Windy Saddle offers dinner every month.  Beer and food are both optional, and there is no cover charge.

This is Golden’s own grassroots version of TED talks, for the benefit of our own local community–and just for the fun of it. Golden Beer Talks is a nonprofit venture focused on three favorite local things–Golden and Beer and Talking! Learn more at www.goldenbeertalks.org.
