Inventors, Architects, Painters, and Drinkers

The Jeffco Innovators’ Workshop meets tonight at 6:30, at the Mountaineering Center.  This is a group of “thinkers, tinkerers, makers, and inventors.”  They meet once a month to discuss the process of bringing an idea to fruition.  Earlier topics this year have included Manufacturing, PR & Marketing, Product Requirements, and Product Development.  Tonight’s main topic will be Intellectual Property, followed by a brief talk about crowd source funding.  If you’ve been pondering a brilliant idea and wondering what to do with it, head to the Mountaineering Center tonight and meet this group!

There are a number of interesting things happening in town tomorrow (Thursday) night.

Anderson Hallas Architects (715 14th St.–right across the street from Thai Gold, and next to the Dove Inn) will be holding an open house from 5-7, with a brief presentation at 5:30.  Tour the studios and hear stories of some of their projects.

The Mountaineering Museum will be hosting Thirsty Third Thursday from 5:30-8:30, featuring Boulder Beer, free Museum admission, crafts for kids, live music, and giveaways.  Always a good time!

Mountain Toad will be hosting live art and music tomorrow night.  Jesse Crock will be creating a new piece of art in the course of the evening, while several guest musicians play.  They will sell raffle tickets throughout the evening, and the winner will walk out with a Jesse Crock original!
