10AM-2PM Visit Homesteaders’ Day at the Golden History Park (map) today. Experience 19th century homesteading, explore the historic cabins, try woodstove cooking, learn about blacksmithing, and take a lesson at the one-room schoolhouse. Drop in any time between 10 and 2 for this free event.
The Golden History Museum is selling honey harvested from the hives in the Golden History Park. Their honey won the blue ribbon at this year’s Jefferson County Fair. Visit the museum and buy a jar! The supply is very limited.
10AM-4PM The Galloping Goose will be running at the Railroad Museum today.
