Happy first day of fall!
Tomorrow is Homecoming for Golden High School. The homecoming parade will go down Washington Avenue from 18th Street to 11th Street. The homecoming game will start at 7PM at Marv Kay Stadium (at the west end of 12th Street). Go Demons!
The School of Mines Homecoming is two weeks from now, on Saturday October 8th.
The Library will be a busy place for the next few days.
TODAY (THURSDAY)
Baby Time 9:15-9:45
Toddler Time 10:15-10:45
Homework Help from 4-6PM. Mines Students will be at the library to help students in grades 1-12 in any subject. Just drop in! They’re there every Wednesday and Thursday.
You can learn some simple card & magic tricks in the DIY Lab today from 5:30-7:30. Learn the secrets and spend time practicing with a captive audience. Kids are welcome, but if they’re 12 or under they should come with an adult.
TOMORROW (FRIDAY)
DIY Lab for kids under 6 from 11-11:30. This month they’ll be playing with watercolors! It may get messy….
Freaky Friday from 2-3:30. School’s out early on Friday, so the library will have games, Legos, and crafts!

Raise a Reader from 12-4.
It’s fun! It’s free! And it’s at your library. Learn to Raise a Reader through engaging and playful activities. Create simple projects to take home and enjoy a snack while visiting local community organizations and businesses sharing helpful information. Suitable for babies through elementary and their families.
