Holidaily and Earth Sweet Botanicals Celebrating Today

Two of our Golden businesses are celebrating their third anniversaries today. Holidaily Brewing will tap their special anniversary beer, Mission Possible Pilsner (available to-go in 32 ounce crowlers). They’ll have two food trucks, beverages from Rocky Mountain Soda Company, live music by Robby Wicks, giveaways, and special anniversary stickers. This is also the 10-year cancer-free anniversary of Holidaily’s owner, Karen Hertz.

Earth Sweet Botanicals, also three years old, will have live music from the ESB Band, herbal tincture mocktails, free hourly door prizes, a discount coupon card for the store, and a bag full of coupons from other Golden businesses. Their party will last from noon till 5PM, so make sure you stop by this afternoon! 1224 Arapahoe St. (map).

Miners Alley Children’s Theater opens a new play today at 1PM–Young King Arthur. Their plays are always interactive and fun.

West Side Live! will present pianist Hank Troy, providing the musical accompaniment to the renowned silent film The General, as well as selected short film features. The performance will be at 7PM at the Unitarian Church. Tickets ($17) are available at the door or at westsidelivepresents.org.

Sunday Preview
Head to the Lookout Mountain Nature Center tomorrow morning from 8-9AM for coffee and conversation with a park ranger. Please bring your own coffee mug.

Tomorrow at noon, Golden will be celebrating International Golden Retriever Day by hosting a Gathering of Golden Retrievers. It starts at noon at the Visitors Center. Should produce some great photo ops!
