Since the kids are on spring break this week, the Railroad Museum has whole week of family-friendly train activities lined up. Monday they’ll have train stories and a Buffalo Bill reenactor. Tuesday, you can visit a hobo camp, take a scavenger hunt, and learn the hobo code. Wednesday, the garden railway will be running and kids can learn some train songs and decorate a railroad cookie. Thursday is the day to learn about model railroading. On Friday, kids can hear stories about the Hogwarts Express and meet some real-live owls!
As usual, the Golden Library is a hotbed of activity today. They have a program for adults 55 and over from 11-12:30. The topic is preventing identity theft. Preschool Time includes stories, singing, rhyming, and dancing from 1:15-1:45. Tonight’s DIY Lab will help you craft a Pinterest-Worthy Wedding from 5:30-7:30.
