The Railroad Museum is celebrating Black History Month today. They’ll have reenactors, describing their work on the railroads and the journeys that African Americans made by rail. A special train will depart every 30 minutes between 10 and 4, and will tour through the museum grounds. A caterer from Five Points will be selling traditional soul food, including fried chicken, po’boys and catfish. It should be both fun and interesting!
The Golden History Center also has a special program today, from 10-4:30. “Politics as Usual” will explore the once-burning issue of where the capitol should be–in Denver or in Golden? Explore the issues and cast your vote!.
