The Golden History Center is hosting a program at 5 entitled “Growing Up in Golden: the 1960s.” Dennis Potter and Rick Goad will describe their experiences growing up here and graduating from Golden High School in 1967. This is part of the lecture series offered in conjunction with the Library’s “One Book” program. Every program they’ve done so far has been interesting, and this one promises to be so too.
The Parks & Recreation board will meet at 7 at the Community Center (1470 10th St.). They will be discussing possible purchase of more Bachman property for a future South Neighborhoods park. The agenda also includes a discussion about the Clear Creek corridor and how to avoid over-use during the peak summer months.
