In case you tried to visit the Bookmobile yesterday…they packed up early due to lightning. They will be back in the library parking lot Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6-8.
Our current forecast calls for cool, rainy weather through Wednesday. If you’ve done some early gardening, this should help establish the young plants.
The Historic Preservation Board meets tonight at 6:30 in City Council Chambers. They will be considering two “Certificates of Appropriateness” for building changes or additions. Woody’s Pizza plans to make make some changes to a small building that stands behind Bent Gate. They want to use the structure as a prep kitchen. The owners of 1107 11th Street want to build a detached garage on the back of their property. This home is considered a “contributing structure” to the 12th Street Historic District.
