I’ve learned more about the Yarn Bombing of our downtown bronze sculptures. As I mentioned yesterday, this is the kick-off event for Artsweek Golden. The “Bombing” will happen today from 10AM-2PM, and the statues will remain decorated for the next week. If you’re downtown during the day today, you can watch the event happening. If you can’t make it during the day, come down for Golden Weekends, from 5-8PM. There will be lots of live music, free carriage rides (6-8PM) and decorated statues!
