Hip Hop Brunch, Ragnaslosion, Holiday Art Market

The Quilt Museum has a great exhibit right now–In the British Style: English Paper Pieced Quilts & Antique Paper Pieced Quilts from the RMQM Collection. Paper quilts are beautiful and intricate, with intense colors. For this exhibit, the museum issued an international call for entries and those included were chosen by Cindy Brick, quilt historian, author, judge and certified appraiser.

Today’s Sunday at the Quilt Museum features Lorie Stubbs, local quilt historian. Lorie will share the story of Mosaics, aka English Paper Pieced Quilts throughout the years. This method of piecing has been used since early times and Lorie will share historical information about the historic Mosaic masterpieces. Learn more….

Our Olde Golden Christmas celebration grows every year. The candlelight walk, the parades, the carriage rides, concerts, holiday lights, and of course the beautifully decked-out stores are always a delight. We have a new event to enjoy this year: Once Upon a Colorado Christmas. This will be a dinner-theater in the Buffalo Rose. The producer promises “an eclectic mix of Holiday music and colorful characters from Colorado’s past.” Only three performances are scheduled (Dec 20, 21, and 22), so get your tickets soon.
