Hike, Comedy, and Sustainability Tonight

5:30PM Hike to Happy Hour with the Colorado Mtn Club and Mountainside Gear Rental
Meet at 5:30 p.m. at the Chimney Gulch Trailhead for our hike and head to happy hour at Mountain Side Gear Rental afterwards. This will be one you definitely don’t want to miss! Stay tuned for more info about food, beer, and other fun things we plan to have for this summer party! We’ll also be doing a raffle giveaway at happy hour, so be sure to stick around! Due to restrictions on group hikes in the area, please register at the following CMC link so we can plan accordingly.

6PM The Sustainability Board will meet in City Council Chambers. They will review their progress to date on their 2019 Work Plan, and will plan for a large community outreach process this fall. They are discussing a partnership with the Neighborhood Rehab folks, who help Golden residents with home repairs to keep them warm, safe, and dry. The Sustainability board will work with the rehabbers to ensure that improved energy efficiency can be part of the improvements they make to residents’ homes. If the City closes the sale on the Coors office building, the Sustainability board wants to make sure that the rehab work brings the building up to LEED standards. See their meeting packet for more info….
