Tonight’s Golden Community Kayak Rodeo has been postponed because of the high water level in Clear Creek. It was to have run tonight, June 17th, and June 24th. The new plan is to extend the series for an extra week, so the final day will be Wednesday July 1st. Plan to go down to the Creek next Wednesday to participate or to watch!
Tomorrow night’s City Council meeting will include a public hearing about potential new trash & recycling haulers. If you’re interested in reviewing the proposal and/or commenting during the council meeting, you can review them on the city website.
Are you planning to attend the Golden Music Festival this weekend? It starts Friday night and runs through Sunday afternoon. It’s always fun–bluegrass, beer, and food vendors at the Clear Creek History Park. Plan to bring blankets or lawn chairs.
