City Council will hear the appeal regarding the 44-unit apartment building at 24th and Ford tonight. The meeting begins at 6:30 in City Council Chambers, 911 10th Street, Golden, CO (map).
The Library’s DIY Lab has a couple of interesting things lined up today. From 4-5:30, 11-14-year-olds are invited to learn about paper weaving. They’ll weave paper sugar skulls, hearts, and other designs. Participants can also to learn how to use the Library’s Silhouette paper cutter.
From 5:30-8:30, all ages are invited to make miniature catapults and slingshot rockets using basic craft and school supplies. For an extra challenge, see if you can improve the designs! Kids, if you’re under 12, please bring your grownup to join and supervise you.
