City Council meets tonight at 6:30 in City Council Chambers. They have a fairly short agenda.
The Mayor will issue a Proclamation, naming February as Heart and Soul of Golden month. Several members of the Golden Cultural Alliance will be on hand for the event. The Cultural Alliance includes many of the organizations that make life interesting in Golden, including:

The second item on City Council’s agenda is a proposed 180 day moratorium on new applications for Special Use Permits for short term or vacation rentals.
Tomorrow night (Friday), the Foothills Running and Cycling Club (FRCC) will host their annual Membership Drive and Jammin in January award ceremony.
FRCC is a Golden based running and cycling club promoting friends and fitness together. We have weekly road and trail runs, track workouts, and cycling events weather permitting. All capabilities are welcome and encouraged! This is a great opportunity to find out what the club is about if you haven’t joined them yet or to renew your membership.
