With temperatures approaching 100 degrees, you may find yourself thinking about yards and gardens that thrive with less water. There’s a “Water Wise Wonders” garden tour today from 9 till 4, sponsored by the Jefferson County Master Gardener’s program. The tour includes five yards, including one in Golden. Admission is $12 for adults, $10 for seniors, and free for children under 12. The proceeds support the Master Gardener program and help fund a scholarship for a horticulture or landscape design student at CSU. You can start at any location on the tour. The Golden address is 524 Wyoming Circle.
