Happy New Year! Since January 1st fell on a Sunday, the holiday is being observed today, January 2nd. The post office, stock market, and city offices are closed today. There will be no mail delivery. The Golden library is open. Foothills Art Center will be closed all month, so they can make some improvements before the Members’ Show and The Power of Progress exhibition open on February 3rd.
The forecast calls for a high of 47 today, so it’s still not very January-ish! Tuesday through Friday will be considerably colder and we may get a bit of snow.
