Tomorrow night, the Colorado Mountain Club will host a speaker night with Jon Kedrowski–a Colorado native, author, speaker, ski-mountaineer, and geographer–where he will recall his recent travels to Pakistan to climb one of the highest mountains on earth in 2013. His journey to Pakistan involved scares from the Taliban, a massacre in a nearby base camp, a spectacular trek on the largest Alpine glacier on earth, views of K2, and exhilarating climbing and skiing off an 8000m peak called Gasherbrum II, without Supplementary Oxygen.
