There are several fun and interesting events scheduled tomorrow.
10AM-2PM Celebrate Safety and Preparedness Day at Firehouse #1 (911 10th St. – map). There will be child car seat checks, live fire demonstrations, face painting, refreshments, drawings, prizes, and giveaways. Firefighters will be on hand for fire apparatus tours and will answer any fire and life safety questions that you may have.
11AM-7PM Golden City Brewery will hold their annual Goldenfest fund-raiser for the Fire Department. Drink Beer and help out the fire department! Buy a special edition GCB mug and get a free beer! All proceeds go to the Golden Fire Department. Live music all day and Cilantro food truck. Come enjoy the fun!
10AM-3PM Golden Real Estate will be celebrating National Electric Drive Week. See 20 or more electric cars representing the most currently available brands and models. Owners will be there to answer your questions. A dealer in electric bicycles will also be there, offering test rides of electric bicycles. Some owners will be offering rides. RSVP (not required)
