Tonight is the first of three Golden Street Fairs scheduled for the year. The others will be July 1st and August 12th.
Plan to come downtown tonight! The Street Fair will take place from 5-9PM on Washington Avenue, between 12th and 13th Streets. There will be local food vendors, live music, dancing (for those so inclined), beer, and live entertainment. Gather up the neighbors, or just let serendipity take its course and find people you know once you’re down there! The Street Fair is put on by the Golden Chamber, with help from sponsors The Golden Transcript, Plains, End, LLC, Avenue Vision, the Golden Civic Foundation, and the City of Golden.
Tomorrow morning (Saturday, June 4th) is the first Golden Farmers Market of the season. To celebrate the new season, and the new market managers, the Golden Chamber will have a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 9AM. Come see your old favorite vendors and meet this year’s new vendors! There will be lots of early season produce as well as prepared food that you can enjoy at the tables. The Market is located in the parking lot at 10th and Illinois, and will be open from 8AM till 1PM.
Saoirse Charis-Graves will hold her monthly Coffee with a Councilor tomorrow morning from 10-11 at Bean Fosters, 720 Golden Ridge Road.
There will be a Kids Bike Rodeo tomorrow from 10-1 in the Coors Tek parking lot, 10th and Jackson Streets.
Tomorrow night is the Golden Super Cruise. The Cruise is headquartered on South Golden Road and runs from 5-8:30PM. Stop by, and enjoy lots of beautiful classic cars and meet their proud owners.
