The Golden Gallop is this morning! This is the 14th annual running of this 5K/10K/Family Fun Run, which benefits the Golden Schools Foundation. If you’re a runner, and up early enough, you can still join the run! The 10K starts at 7:45, the 5K at 8AM, and the children’s fun run at 10AM.
The fire in Clear Creek Canyon has provided entirely too much excitement this weekend. I guess we’re lucky we made it this far through the year without a fire. Temperatures are now cooling, and we may see our first snow within the next month. The Jeffco Sheriff’s Department has been posting their updates about the fire on their Facebook page, so check there for the latest status report.
