For Kids
The Library is hosting Wild Wednesday this afternoon from 4-5. A naturalist from the Lookout Mountain Nature Center will be discussing Colorado wildlife. The program is geared for 6-10 year olds. Every Wednesday and Thursday, Mines Students will be at the library from 4-6 to provide Homework Help to anyone grades 1-12. Tomorrow morning at 11:15, the library will have a Toddler Dance Party.
For Athletes
A Meetup Group (anyone can join) will be taking an evening hike in Apex Park tonight from 5:45-7:45.
The Miles and Smiles Run Club will leave from Holidaily Brewing at 6 for a trail run followed by a happy hour.
The Foothills Running and Cycling Club will have track workouts starting at 5:45 on the Bell Middle School track.
For Spectators
It’s hard for me to grasp, but I’ve heard that some people don’t want to spend their Thursday evenings watching City Council meetings. For those who don’t, there are some alternatives tomorrow night.
Foothills Art Center will be hosting Rock Talk from 6-7PM. Meet and engage with the artists of 3 Scientists – 3 Artists – 3 Forms; An Exhibition of Stone. Members Free / Non members pay regular admission.
Miners Alley will host an improv group at 7:30. What happens when a traditional theatrical scene is “flipped” with improvisational actors? Winning the 2017 Henry award for “Outstanding Improvisational Theatre,” SCRIPTprov
has also been described as a “wonderful surprise” and “redefining the rules.” We put improv in their scripts; they put scripts in our improv. Hilarity ensues. Learn more….
New Terrain Brewing Company will kick off the 3-day celebration of their 1st Anniversary. Rastasaurus will be playing a free show from 6-9.
