Registration for the Golden Gallop opens at 6:30am at Parfet Park.
The 10K starts at 8am and the 5K at 8:15am.
Awards are at 9:40 and the Kids’ Fun Run starts at 10am.
Tomorrow from 4-5:30, the Library is hosting a session of STEM Girls. These sessions tend to fill, so register today.
Everyone knows that girls are awesome. Sadly though, as girls grow up, they’re far under-represented in science careers, and sometimes subliminally discouraged from even showing interest in these careers. We’re doing our part to change this course by offering STEM events just for girls where all ages are invited to play and learn in an open and nonjudgmental atmosphere. The events are led by Bell Middle School’s Girls in iSTEM Club. Space is limited, so please register in advance.
