The Golden History Museum is having a big party this Friday (February 1st), and you are invited!  They will be opening a new exhibit called Face to Face.  The Museum owns a series of portraits of prominent early Golden Citizens, such as George West, who founded the Golden Transcript, and William Loveland, who brought railroads to town.  The Museum decided that current prominent citizens also deserve a place in the collection.  They invited nominations from the community, chose fifteen citizens, and will unveil the portraits at this Friday’s reception.  The event will run from 5:30-8.  Food, drink, and live music will be provided, and admission is free.
