The Chamber is accepting applications to be in the Olde Golden Christmas Parades! We’ll have three parades–December 3rd, 10th, and 17th, at 10:30 AM. Different groups appear each week, so the the parade is different every week. Sign up your school, church, or business, and you’ll be seen by over 2000 people lining the streets! This is the first Saturday of the Holiday Art Mart at Foothills Art Center, so plan to walk through and enjoy all the pretty things! The place is FULL of perfect gifts, plus lots of things you’ll want for yourself. Bring the kids! Foothills is offering kids programs every Saturday from 11-2, so you can shop while they make a craft. Today, they’ll be making Christmas terrariums. Non-member $8 / Member $5 Ages 7-12
Tomorrow afternoon at 1, the Quilt Museum is having “Sunday at the Museum – Persuasion by Hanky: Politics, Policies and Patriots,” with Katie Dix. This would be a nice opportunity to see their new location, at 200 Violet Street (map) as well as the NEW SHOW: Patchwork Pundits Take On Politics.
If you’re on the city’s trash plan, you’ll have Yard Waste Pick-Up this coming week. They’ll pick up your leaves on your regular trash pick-up day. Learn more on the City website.
