It’s an Early Release Day for Jeffco schools! Kids in grades 5-8 are invited to drop by the Golden Library’s Teen Area to play Xbox 360, Playstation 4, board games or card games.
The Sustainability Board meets tonight at 6:30 in City Council Chambers. They will discuss the downtown recycling program, outreach on the green waste program, and an “energy dashboard” that they want to develop. The dashboard is supposed to provide a quick visual summary of the city’s progress on sustainability goals.
Tonight is the High School’s Chili Cook-Off. From 6-8:30, they’ll be serving chili while GHS musicians provide entertainment and a live auction takes place. $7–see you there! 701 24th Street, Golden, CO (map).
