Full Moon, Quilt Museum Reception, Buffalo Bill Days

The moon will be full tonight, rising at 8:22PM and setting at 6:35 tomorrow morning.

From 6-8PM this evening, the Quilt Museum is holding an opening reception for their new exhibit, Pieced Together: Patchwork Quilts from Russia and Evolutions. Featured Quilt Artist Jill Kerttula will be present for the reception. Plan to join them for refreshments, free admission, and lots of quilts!

The Buffalo Bill Days festivities kick off tonight in Parfet Park. The Children’s rides and activities, arts & crafts, merchandise and food vendors will be open from 5-10PM. The Dave Frisk Band will be on stage in the park from 5-7 and Doug Kershaw will perform from 7:45-9:30.

Saturday
The Fire Department’s Pancake Breakfast will run from 6-10AM in Fire Station #1, 911 10th St. The line gets long close to parade time.

The parade on Washington Avenue will start at 10AM. The Wild West Show in Lions Park will run from 12:30-2PM.
