The Planning Commission was reviewing the new Transportation Master Plan. Meyer Hardware had a one-day sale offering 20% off hunting and pocket knives. Golden City Brewery was offering $1 off a pint for people wearing GCB clothing.

The Library was hosting a workshop where kids could decorate sweaters, to turn them into Ugly Holiday Sweaters. New state-wide legislation was allowing grocery stores and convenience stores to begin selling full-strength beer, so many stores in town were applying to the Local Licensing Authority for permission to increase their beer-selling areas.
