The Applewood Valley United Methodist Church will host their annual 4th of July Ice Cream Social tomorrow from 11AM-1PM. Join them for a bike parade, games, crafts, a firetruck, and ice cream. 2035 Ellis Street (map).
The big shindig in Lions Park will start at noon. They’ll have free rides and music all day, culminating in a fireworks display at approximately 9:30. Details to follow tomorrow! If the hot, dry weather forces them to postpone the fireworks, they will announce it on the City’s facebook page and on their Twitter feed (@CityofGolden).
