The Chief has downgraded the fire restrictions. You can now have a fire in a contained space, like your outdoor grill, but you can’t have an open fire. See the official details and descriptions on the City’s press release.
Tomorrow morning at 9, there will be a class on “Organic Weed and Pest Control” at the Golden Community Garden. Walk through the garden with our Master Gardeners from DUG to identify pests and weeds and find out what to do about them! Some might even be good bugs and plants!
This is the last weekend to see Collected Stories at Miners Alley Playhouse. Performances are tonight and tomorrow at 7:30, and Sunday at 2. It’s a good play: the Denver Post gave it 3-1/2 out of 4 stars. Don’t miss your chance to see it!
Foothills Art Center is hosting a reception tonight from 6:30-8:30 to celebrate the opening of their new textiles show, Threads of Change. Admission is free, and it’s open to the public.
