Craft Fair and Friday Night

NEWS FLASH:  The Golden Civic Foundation’s annual auction (on November 15th) is officially sold out, but Executive Director Marcie Miller suggests that if you still hope to attend, give her a call at 720-326-8636.

The Methodist Church is holding its annual Holiday Craft Fair today and tomorrow from 10-4.  More than 25 vendors of hand-made crafts, including wood, knit items, jewelry, Christmas décor, cards, photographs, and homemade baked goods, will sell items at the holiday craft fair. Lunch with dessert (homemade fruit pies), made and served by women of the church, will be served from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.  The church is located at 1500 Ford St.

Tonight is First Friday, so there will be free carriage rides downtown from 5-8, compliments of the Golden Chamber. The moon is just past full, so it will be a pretty night!

The Quilt Museum is holding an opening night reception tonight from 5-8.  This is a good opportunity to see their new “Wishes Through Our Hands” exhibit.

Tonight at 8, at the Mountaineering Center, Powder7.com is sponsoring another ski movie.  Days of My Youth offers a unique glimpse into the journey of self-discovery that every skier experiences — exploring the globe and escaping to the playground of the mountains.  Tickets ($10) and information are available on the Powder7.com website.
